Like Rich the bod, I believe in the non-existence of the nonMudClique. Christ, we don't even agree on how to pronounce it. When I talk to Americans long distance, they say a clique that rhymes with prick. In Canada, where we have a French population and where we English have French pretensions even though we made fun of all our male French teachers as sounding effeminate, we say a clique that rhymes with Monique and sleek and speak and creak and sneak and unique.

I'd much rather belong to a Canadian sounding clique than an American one but sometimes I simply feel like a mudToad, a lowly creature without status burried deep in the muck and forgotten. I envy the non-members of the nonMudClique who don't seem to have a life beyond the form and who seem to spend most of their time on-line writing messages and telling other people who don't feel like they are part of the nonMudClique what not to say.

Often I wish I didn't have a life and could spend all my time on mudcat. At other times I feel like a real mudFucker, shoving my ideas in your face without much concern for your feelings or for what miserable things are happening in you miserable life. Then I don't care what you think or who belongs to what nonMudClique. I feel a bit like that now so I may go off and start my own thread. Try and stop me you nonMudClique members.
