I dug through a couple of boxes and found the little rotating motors that plug into the mini-lights I put on my crape myrtle limb. That little Santa is rotating beautifully, and I can add several more (I think they suggest 3 motors per string). It has to be something that you can tell is moving - a glass ball with no pattern, for example, is barely noticeable.

In the past I've mentioned the WatchdogNation approach to getting your bills taken care of (when you need to call customer service). Take them on one a day, or adopt a 15-minutes for the call plan, to make them more manageable.

I spent my first 15 minutes of bill-sorting this month with Sprint. It didn't result in much savings. I have to call back again tomorrow, and maybe that clerk will waive the activation fee. The woman this evening said that they're "educating customers" about how to set up these phones to avoid that fee. A polite way of saying she wouldn't waive it. No one told me that if I simply bought the phone at a store and activated it online that they'd waive the fee. So perhaps one last waiver? Next time we replace a phone we'll buy it at the store and take it home to activate. Someone could/should have said to do that and we'd have understood.

Tomorrow, the cable company. They're ugly customers, so I'm pacing myself.

I'll start a new thread tomorrow. Stay warm, everyone, and fingers crossed that we all traverse the December page of the calendar with ease and stay in the black in the process!
