Having just brought my worldly goods across the continent from Whidbey Island, WA to Montreal, Quebec, I am sorting and trying to find room in our very limited space for the bare essentials. To refer to them as such seems strange as I have done without them for 18 months. What is essential?

It is nice to see things I have not seen in so long. And a few precious things went missing in the duration. So there is a grief factor happening.

On the other hand is, "IT cost me far more than all of this is worth...!!!!" But some of it - family photos, newspapers from when I was a reporter and which I want to revisit...

What constitutes clutter? Like beauty, it is in the eye, or mind, of the individual. One friend prefers an empty room. I like to have interesting objects and sentimental stuffs.

One large box has already gone to the thrift shop and another is in the works. Will I ever fit in those slacks again????? NO! Weeellll, maybe.

Now, to find the vitamin D. I think there is some in that box in the laundry room. Or do I need to make a trip to Sante Essential tomorrow ?

Better sort through a couple more boxes today!
