I've just spoken to Marian. She is actually on Foulis Ward, and can accept incoming phone calls (but can't ring out herself). She's quite happy if you want to ring her (020 7352 8121), but did say that she won't be able to talk for long, as she tends to get a bit breathless after a little while. The ward has open visiting up till 8pm at night. I have read all the messages out to her, and she asked me to say thank you to everyone.

I'm happy to say that she sounds a bit more cheerful - and said the staff are more concerned, involved, and treating her like a person. They have been running various tests (much the same ones that they did in Ashford), but she sounds more confident that they know what they're up to.

I'm hoping to go visiting on Saturday (subject to weather and travel conditions, of course!!)
