Thread Name: Lyr/Chords Req: Master McGraw? / Master McGrath
Subject: RE: Lyr/Chords Req: Master McGraw
My mother, being from Armagh, claims the hound was named after my great-great uncle, who was my great grandmother's twin brother. The story my mother told is that he was a compulsive gambler who left teaching (teachers were always addressed as "Master") to follow Lord Lurgen and the hounds. There upon Lord Lurgen named the hound after him. My mother, having been raised by her grandmother, said she wouldn't even let a deck of cards in the house because of his addiction.

But anyway, mother used to sing another song. The only words I can remember are: "She'll have pubs in the morning said Master McGraw." Does anyone out there have any knowledge of this one?

Thanks
