Shanghaied on the Willamette is playing on Sep 30 at the Hillsboro Farmers Market (in Hillsboro, of course) 9 am-1 pm . They are a lot of fun and worth going to see. There are some bluegrass jams in Vancouver (just across the Columbia river from Portland). The Washington bluegrass assn page with the info is here . This one is on Wednesday night, and on Thursday night there is an old time jam at the Salmon Creek Brewery and Pub in Vancouver on Evergreen at Washington.
