I really like some of the old folk carols like 'The Holly and the Ivy', 'Coventry Carol', and 'The Truth Sent from Above'. I've recently taken the words of 'While Shepherds WAtched Their Flocks By Night' (I like the words but really don't like the usual tune) and reset them to the Irish tune 'The Homes of Donegal'. I'm recording a version of this to send out to the folks on my Christmas list this year.
