Had a gig at a coffeehouse/pub tonight. I was really tired and almost fell asleep driving there, just low-energy and grumbling about having to set up the equipment etc. There was a good, appreciative crowd, and not halfway into the first set I felt energized! It turned out to be one of our best gigs this year - the band was grooving tight, the vocals sounded great, and the people loved it.

So - the restorative healing power of music showed itself tonight. Good happens!
