1 cup butter (250 ml), very soft 1 1/2 cups white sugar 2 eggs 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract (10 ml) 2 cups flour 2/3 cups Fry's cocoa (sifted if clumped) 3/4 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 to 1 cup chocolate chips or nuts.
Cream first four ingredients together until light and fluffy. Combine dry ingredients and add to butter mixture. Mix well. Mix in nuts or chips. Drop by teaspoonful on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes at 350 F. Makes 5 dozen (depends on whether one or more teaspoon of dough dropped on cookie sheet).
