I bought a potted baby Norway Spruce at a store with a plan to have it outside the front door with little lights on it...It became encased in ice from the dripping gutter. Very pretty in its own way, but I am sticking with the artificial illuminated door wreathg this year.

We had another light snowfall last night, and now it's very cold after the sky cleared. I have to clear the last of the snow from the car, as I am out for lunch tomorrow, and am hoping that if I can reduce the amount, today's forecast sun will do the rest. It will the first time out of the village for 2 weeks! My sister in law is hopefully over at her cottage this weekend, and so I may be spending a night over there. Does require some driving on back lanes, however...

Today's task is tidying some stuff away from or into the little cupboard under the stairs.
