Murray mentioned the speed of the tune. This is one that works whether its up tempo or slowed to a crawl. When it's sung I prefer the former, but when played as an instrumental I prefer it on the slow side.

There was another thread just a week or so ago that surveyed the many song lyrics written to this melody, proof perhaps that it's indeed a great tune!
