Good to see your face here, Liz! I have to admit that though I at first was sorry to step out of the Secret Santa fray in order to get the rest of it going, it is really a pleasure to see those threads grow longer as people tease each other and as packages begin to arrive at their destinations. I hope that after the work of making assignments that you also enjoyed watching all of the mayhem ensue! Take care of yourself, and that salmon they're giving you at the hotel is good for you!

I have been turning on a local rock station that is back to it's good program format they were known for (92.5 has always been a point on the FM dial that had great old rock, not just the oldies, but the danceable, singable, and often message rock). I can dance around the kitchen and do some exercise moves for a while, then put it back on NPR.

Yesterday I called the folks that make my good keyboard, and they emailed a list of adapters that work with their keyboards. I read reviews and found one that I'll pick up tomorrow.

I started with the new Snickerdoodle recipe last night, but realized it was a different enough than my old favorite that I defaulted to the old recipe. And a few years ago I found a large cookie sheet at a garage sale (one of those big hollow aluminum ones) that knocks off the dough pretty quickly. Those are bagged and in the freezer, and I'll make something else tonight so I have a variety tray to take to work for a holiday luncheon tomorrow.

I did sample just a couple of them, but I've been good to put them in the freezer where they're out of sight and off my hips. :)
