Since I'm not a lyricist, I cannot speak authoritatively about incentives. A more competetive flavour does not seem adequate or desired. "Say what they liked about it" best sums up my idea. The B.L.O.P. was meant for this purpose, maybe it should be extended. Sometimes I have a comment but don't want to interrupt the thread. I'm sure many other readers are even shyer than I (;-)) and would love to comment if there were an accepted place for that. Some time ago I suggested a "critics' thread". NB: such reviews are probably an incentive for poets and readers alike, I would love to read them. - Just raw ideas.
