Sounds like a productive day all around!

The cinnamon rolls were a hit. They were still a little warm when I arrived, and the middle ones in the pan were still kind of tacky-sticky, but those seem to be the ones that go fastest!

My eye exam went well, today was baseline tests, no treatment needed. Poking and prodding wasn't pleasant, though, and I'm headed to bed with tired eyes. I got my new glasses and it is so nice to have not only a lighter pair, but to have that darned scratch gone after all of these months. I switched from plastic to polycarbonate this time.

The sad news today was that my ex-mother-in-law died this morning. She was 88 and had lived with her youngest son and daughter-in-law in Florida for many years. My kids are both taking finals this week and into next so will stay put. Their dad flew out today. We'll have to have our family get together sometime later than I originally planned (my son comes home on Monday).
