LUM's!!! Thanks for that memory...there was a Lum's across from the mall in my hometown and we always had lunch there when I was a kid and I always had the two hotdog special...many years ago!

Hard to beat Nathan's; it has also been many years since I ate there...

also a very cool place in Manhattan is Papaya Gray's; they serve great hot dogs and papaya juice drinks (a la Orange Julius) and there are all these signs talking about how great papaya juice is for the digestion...

these days I like 'em with brown mustard and raw onions...yum. But only rarely.
