I've just got back from the village with some shopping. We have a blizzard here, which has deposited two inches in my garden (sheltered and surrounded by six foot fences) in just over an hour.

There is plenty of traffic in Malling Road and it is making no impression on the snow. There is only a groove in the settled snow, and no tarmac showing.

The forecast is more of the same over the next eight hours.

Winnie and I have forted up for the duration.
