You seem to be asking whether your browsing will still start at the AOL page. Most (probably all, I don't know) browsers allow you to set a 'start (or home) page', the place you can start your browsing. If you prefer to start at the AOL one, you can set your preferences that way and you'll have things exactly the way you're used to.

In firefox : tools>options>tab 'general> set your preferred start page (make sure you have the address handy)
