Hypatia says: "Well, poo!"

But seriously, 's'allright. It is pretty short notice and a weeknight to boot. We will be there until the following Saturday morning, but here's the setup. We haven't seen Beth's sister and brother-in-law in person for about 12 years, since before we were married. He has terminal cancer, so we want to be spending as much quality time as we can with just the four of us, as we may not have many (if any) more such good opportunities. It's really pretty much the first motivation for the trip.

So I'm following Beth's lead on the whole family-time thing, since this is her family, and her feeling is this: we'll kind of get the "feel of the room" when we are all out there on that Tuesday, and if it looks like a Friday night get-together might be a possibility, we'll dial up and pop on that night and let y'all know. Monday was the only night where we knew we had the run of the place ourselves, and were sure we could get together with folks. We'll have to play it by ear for Friday (Oct. 6), but will keep y'all posted.

Hey kat (or Sorcha, or anyone else along the way in WY), if you're reading this thread, how far from I90 do you live? Maybe we could at least grab a cup of Joe with ya on our way across Wyoming.
