I'm so sorry to hear this. He was such a kind patient man. I met him at the first folk festival I ever helped organize, at Geneseo NY in February 1971. There was a blizzard that weekend. He and his family were kind enough to give another performer a ride home to New York City, and kind enough to keep a straight face when, just as my mother did to me, I told them to call me when they got home so I knew they got there safely.
