Amos, you silly-ass human, you should be goin' after the outfit that does the chart if that is your complaint, not after LH. I know you been on a vendetta against me for a long time, and I can understand that, cos I can be an irritatin' guy to some people bein' as how I speak my mind and don't suffer human fools gladly...but LH is a nice person, he is softspoken, he don't mean no harm to no one...so why you pickin' on him all the time, bub? What is yer problem? You want I should come down to San Diego and teach you the facts of life? Is that what you are anglin' for? Cos I will if you keep carryin' on and makin' uncalled-for attacks on LH. He didn't do nothin' different in reportin' on that chart fer the words Black/Negro/etc than Stilly River Sage did with the Indian/Native American thing....and I don't see you goin' after her over that, do I? "Indian" could also mean people from India, couldn't it, and it could mean a brand of motorcycle too, but I don't see you buggin' Stilly River Sage about that. She gets a free ticket from you...but LH gets jumped on.

So whaddya got to say about that, buster? He made a point about how the word Negro spiked in use during the Civil War years, and "colored" spiked in used during and just after WWI and WWII. That's sigificant. That's his key point...and it remains a valid point regardless of the number of occurences of the word "Black" over the whole danged period.

If you was standin' under my tree, there'd be a large coconut bouncin' off yer thick skull right about now.
