OK, one more posting. My oldtime music pal Gene saw this thread and emailed me for more info on the Brumley song books. I figure I can post it here so others may know. Albert E. Brumley produced some small, soft cover song books in the 70's. These are still available through mail order groups such as Elderly Instruments, and curiously, National Park gift shops. They are also available by writing: Albert E. Brumley & Sons 345 West Highway 54 Camdenton, MO 65020 They are offered from the Brumleys for $3.50 each but I have found them elsewhere for less than $3.00. The books are: Songs of the Pioneers (vols. 1, 2 and 3) Another book came out recently, America's Memory Valley which is a compilation of some selections from the above plus additional material and some history on the songs. This is just a little more info for everyone on these handy books. I am not connected with the Brumleys in any way and they have never heard of me. Rex Rideout (rrideout@mines.edu)
