It occurs to me to point out that the USA is an ongoing experiment in empowering the population. Remember out Bill of Rights? We are unlike any other nation on Earth in the miracle of our birthing. England, France, Spain, Japan, etc., all are free countries but only the USA included personal freedom in our making.

To be free we need to be fully informed in what is happening in the world. It is a necessary requirement of being a United Statesian.

Thus, Assange, foreign born and citizen of the world as he is, has done us a favor.
