Bob, my mother's cousin, Charles Husby, used to tell some really bad lutefisk jokes that inevitably made it into some column or other in the Herald over the years. Do you remember reading any of those? (Charles died a few years ago. I know some family members used to wince when Charles stood up to speak at family reunions and such, but he was so funny! There was always a group of us who would be laughing so hard, despite the glares from our parents. I think stand-up humor was not a typical Norwegian occupation. In real life, he was in the painter's local.)
