BBC Radio Gloucestershire is to repeat last year's programme on the history and development of the wassail tradition, with particular reference to Gloucestershire. The programme is presented by Radio Gloucestershire's Pete Wilson and with features interviews with researchers Gwilym and Carol Davies and Richard Sermon. The programme will include several clips of field recordings, and will be broadcast between 12 and 1pm on Sunday 2nd January on BBC Radio Gloucestershire 104.7fm, 95fm in Stroud and 95.8fm in Cirencester.
