The big issue here is much easier to understand than the Bible's rather contradictory and confusing concepts. The Insurance Industry is against gay marriage, because it increases their exposure to family coverage and claims. But why should they make that the issue when there are plenty of morons with God Hates Queers stamped in their hearts who are more than willing to jump into the breach?

When I hear about the drug-abusing heterosexual parents who let their child get into the coke stash on their coffee table, or the drunken stepfather who beats a child to death for peeing on the couch, or the parents who leave their kids in cars in 110 degree temperatures while they do some quick shopping, I am quite satisfied that homosexual parents could be a good deal less dangerous and more responsible. I think the way you treat your mate and your offspring is much more important than whether you are a different or same sex couple,
