My mom has a 1971 Guild F-30 and had either a Chevelle or a Toyota Karina (Carina? Dang, I know how to spell Opel Kadet). I'm not seeing a match there, though. Maybe the Chevelle. The Toyota was tinny but that model was rare in the US. In the true spirit of 1970's Japanese cars, it finally got so rusted out and my dad did a load of bodywork on it. It went around in primer for awhile until my uncle was embarrassed when we came to visit and threatened to paint it windows and all if my dad didn't get busy and mask it (uncle owns a sign shop and paints tour buses for Atlantic City).

Hmm, the Guild has a repaired back--maybe it's a Toyota after all.
