It's worth mentioning that there is a biography of Alan Lomax due to hit the bokshelves tomorrow, 30th Dec. John Swzed is the author and the book is called Alan Lomax: The Man Who Recorded the World.

The book is published in hardback, 448 pages, by Viking Press-Heinmann, and retails for a very modest price, £12.50 at Amazon UK.

Add to that the fact that Ron Cohen has a book on Lomax due shortly, and it sounds like we're about to be presented with an Alan Lomaxfest.
