Richard, why the comment about the "Z word" as you put it, it is commonplace for no end of Americans in the Methodist, Mormon etc religions? Has it somehow become politically incorrect and I have missed it?
Personally, whilst my faith is currently somewhat tested, and as an Englishman, I know the word, firstly from the Bible (KJ6 and others), then from school assemblies (in the hymns) then at Sunday School (Hymns and Sermons - Gospel and Church of England), and through living in Bermuda and British Virgin Islands have become reunited with the word again.
