I can't believe they have decided it doesn't exist?! It was a HUGE deal when we lived in CT before leaving there in 1993. I had friends with it and the docs put me on antibiotics the couple of times I'd been bit, to protect the aortic valve. We don't have it out here, so I haven't followed along, but I am really surprised they say it's not a disease. I'll have to ask my daughter about it as she is still back there. Thanks, Donuel.
