I do believe I recall the WASHINGTON RECORDS was a later incarnation of the old RIVERSIDE RECORDS label out of New York. They had quite a few folk LPs issued---Ewan MacColl & A.L. Lloyd 's Child Ballads collection, Rev. Gary Davis on one side and Pink Anderson on the other, an LP of Ed McCurdy doing the Robin Hood ballads with backup by our own (on occasion) Frank Hamilton, Obray Ramsey, Walter Pegram, Walter Parham etc. etc. Great jazz stuff too.

It's now all owned by FANTASY RECORDS in San Francisco. But they haven't issued much at all on CD--just some of the jazz.
