I've been talking to my granny about a song her mother used to sing her - she can only vaguely remember what its about and would know it if she heard it. I want to find it and sing it to her.

It's about someone going away to Australia and it's quite long. It is in English and possibly Scots and there is death in the end - i realise this probably doesn't narrow it down much however I would appreciate any suggestions. Gran will know the song as soon as she hears it.
