Good for you, Bloozie. Those are the kinds of tales we love to hear. For some choice ones, when you have some time, go to the Quick Links, choose Forum Search and then Go. When you get there, type in Art Thieme, then read a few of his postings. You will find some amazing stories of memorable meetings and experiences. We also have some good ones from Frank Hamilton, but only as a Guest, so you can't search for his. Sandy Paton, of Folk Legacy Records, has some good ones, too.

In the Mudcat FAQs thread, you will also find the Mudcat Classic Threads links. Any of those are worth a good read.

If you want to send a few songs or video clips to Max, I'll bet he'd air them on Mudcat radio which happens, onlone, every Wednesday at 7pm EST-US. For an addy to send them to, click on the catfish jumping out of the banjo, where it say "Support the Mudcat" and read down through the page. You'll find the West Chester addy there.

Glad you have joined us and glad to be a tiny bit of inspiration. Jump in and have some fun with us, too. Anytime you feel like telling a story of your collecting, start a thread and let us read it, please, unless of course you are saving them for a book?*bg*

Take care,

kat
