I note that Sinclair Davidson is a member of the Institute of Public Affairs (IPA, a right-wing, corporate funded think tank based in Melbourne). It has close links to the Liberal Party of Australia, with its Executive Director John Roskam having run for Liberal Party preselection for a number of elections. (In Australia, the Liberal party is a conservative pro-business party). The IPA key policy positions include: pro privatisation and deregulation; pro-nuclear power; attacks on unions and non-government organisations; support of assimilationist Indigenous policy (cf. the Bennelong Society) and anti-science skepticism of climate change.
