I will be eternally grateful if any of you can tell me if it is safe, and even possible, to totally remove the security content advisor from my hard drive.

I use IE and it seems as soon as I disable the content advisor through the usual channels, i.e. Tools, Internet Options, etc., as soon as I call up the Mudcat or even my ISP home page, the damn thing pops up.

I've reset the levels to allow everything and it still pops up with the warning. So, I go in and disable it again. I don't know how or why it is resetting itself to enable. Can you tell I am frustrated?! :-)

Anyway, I am ready to delete it from the hard drive but don't want to muck up the rest of the damn browser. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.
