According to CBC they returned to Canada today ... the 18th of January ... the alleged incident happened on the evening of December 31st and they reported the incident to the Canadian Consulate on the 12th of January ... the CBC has a video clip of them walking casually through the Playa del Carmen casually .
All I can say if such a horrific incident such as that happened to my wife and I we would have contacted the consulate immediately and then got the hell out of Dodge right away .... regardless of what country we were visiting.
