Trouble is they need a 'name' for the massive production. Now, you or I could easily come up with half a dozen or more people who rightly deserve this award, but they would not bee well enough known to Mr General Public.
Consequently, the value of this award has been significantly diminishesd as to make it almost worthless.
Shame really, and particularly for previous worthy winners.
