Although I literally wore out her LP's playing them, I never saw her perform, nor, before tonight, have I watched videos. Haven't quite made it all the way through them yet, CBV, but am going back to finish after this post.

Musically, I had always thought her an old soul in a young body. Watching her, it is more like an old soul possessed her when the mic was in her hand.
