Having dealt with an addict and his addiction as well as helped others do the same, my first advice is take care of yourself. If he manages to find a drink, toss his ass out at once. If he steals anything toss his ass out.
The tendency for an alcoholic on his way into rehab is to have one last fling.
Take care of yourself and your own first.
