Personally I loved Donovan's stuff - although I don't very often sing or listen to it these days.

On my 17th birthday, there was this wonderful programme on telly that I'd looked forward to for weeks. Donovan playing a J45 on St Ives beach surrounded by gorgeous sixties chicks, dressed by Courege.

Basically my life has been downhill all the way, ever since.
