Actually Jamaica-speak makes more sense then latinate English.

"Wha'appen? (What's up?) - greeting used among friends."
Sounds dated.
The new way to say it is "Wha'gwan?" (What's goin' on?)

I'll tell you this about Jamaicans. The schools down there produce educated people.
Many of them much brighter than American counterparts.
