Too cold to go anywhere; too cold inside to do much. Spent most of afternoon on love seat with feet up on heating pad. 14 outside. almost 60 inside. Unless I keep moving, I freeze up!

I did put together casserole for tomorrow and it simmered in crock pot all afternoon. Now it is off til bedtime when, hopefully, we will remember to turn it back on; it needs to be hot when we go to meeting as there is no way to get it really warm there. The flavours will be well blended!

I also managed to keep up to the dishes and put the washed and dried fabrics into a box to go back out to shed. Two boxes ready to go out but not until it is warmer. Obviously we do not have much heat in here! I am not going to open the door!

Caught up on FB, emailed a newspaper reporter re contact for Steiner school she wrote about in Friday's paper. They may need a new venue; Rob may have one - if it is suitable. It is a French School but obviously they speak English as the article was in English paper.

I still need to think about: volunteer work nearby, pref in school, writing on a variety of ideas which have accumulated over the years, contacting newspaper to see if I can get them to do an early spring article about raccoons - when not to bother babies as they are prob not orphans, how to care for them or where to take them if they really are orphans, etc. Do it now, Dorothy.
