I've looked down on the tar sands in Google Earth. It's huge and toxic - what a waste, and all of that oil is probably consumed in the U.S. by folks who don't have a clue about the environmental mess to get it.

Laundry and some repotting of stuff on the potting table I moved into the house last month. It is handy, but I have to remind myself to do something with that dresser sooner rather than later, or I'll be back to difficulty reaching things, like when the grizzly bear rug lived in there.

This evening I pulled together a couple of paperwork things I've been moving around and putting off. Definitely procrastinating on calling and updating insurance again. My mortgage tyrants always insist flood be at same level as house replacement, but the upgrade isn't built into the flood policy. Every year the address a flyspeck of a problem with a sledgehammer of a letter and a draconian solution if I don't respond quickly enough. No wonder I put that one off--as one of the quizzes suggests, I don't like to be told what to do! My watchdog reporter suggests in his book (I read it last year then reviewed it) that you give yourself 15 minutes a day to tackle these things that you'll soon put many things that bug you to rest. So that's what I'll do tomorrow.
