Thanks for posting about the 'recovery disc' John. I'd been getting a little confused earlier in the thread by the concern about not getting a system disc with new machines. Making your own recovery disc seems to be normal now & my machine prompted me to do that when I got it. Glad I did the right thing.

I agree, take it back to the shop!!! And be careful of what emails you look at, it's surely a virus has knocked out your hard drive.
