What a great night!

Despite illness taking its toll of several of the "regulars" there was an excellent mix of traditional and newer material and an influx of people halfway through the evening that included several new players/ singers.

It was going so well that Roy let us continue to 11.30pm, well after the bar had stopped serving, and the "buzz" continued for so long afterwards that he was still shoving people out of the door gone midnight.

This really is my favourite session to go to...so relaxed and inclusive and with a great atmosphere and friendly participants. I wish it was on more often than monthly.
