Log on to the Sony website - register the laptop with them if you haven't already done so, then arrange for them to collect and repair it under warranty. It won't take more than a few days, and they will send a courier with appropriate packaging to pick it up... no worries there!

It may take a little ferreting around on their website, but Sony, Toshiba, HP et al are all very good like that. Dell... not so good!
