The first & only time I saw Tom Paxton performing live was in the Royal Albert Hall c1966.
He was supporting The Dubliers who were at their height. I thought he
was great then & I have not changed my mind since.
By the way, the compere was the actor John Gregson (1919-1975) known to British & Irish audiences for the movie 'Rooney' & also the role of Commander Gideon, Scotland Yard.
