I once passed a church in Wolverhampton (England), it was about the time when there was a debate regarding supermarkets etc. opening on Sundays, anyway the sign outside the church read "Now Open On Sundays".

One Monday morning while passing a high street in Yorkshire I noticed that drunken pranksters had stolen a sign board from outside a local church and fixed it to the front of the Yorkshire Bank it read "Jesus Saves"
