About 15 or so years ago, I attended a "Tuba Christmas" performance at the Opera House in Woodstock, IL. The MC was a local who performed a song in the intro. The song was about a fellow whose mother, and then his first wife, were anal retentive about carefully placing each strand of tinsel (icicles) on each branch of the Christmas tree, while the guy's preference was to simply throw it at the tree and let it land where it may. After his marriage broke up, he met a his soul-mate, as the song chorus indicated that she was, indeed, a tinsel-tosser, too.

I am enlisting help to find out who the performer is/was, the full lyrics of the song, and where I might get a recording.
