Potroasting is not the same as braising. Pot roast can be done in a covered roasting pan (or crock pot), the slow cooking with potatoes and vegetables added and developing a delightful odor THAT CALLS FOR BIG APPETITE- (also braising may be done if desired) darn it Gnu, we don't have one 'working' and you have made me voraciously hungry!
