David Munrow was a lovely guy. I met him on a few occasions when I was working for the Beeb in the late 60's/early 70s, and he was a superb musician and musicologist. His early death was very sad. I still have an album of the incidental music he wrote for a radio production of The Hobbit (Paul Daneman as Bilbo), plus some arrangements of music played by the Tudow waits bands. Great stuff.
